Every document tracks its upstream sources (what it was derived from) and downstream dependents (what documents reference it). A Control Plan shows that it was generated from a specific PFMEA and Process Flow, and an Inspection Plan shows it was derived from that Control Plan. When corrective action findings propagate back, those links are recorded too. This gives you full APQP traceability for audits.
